Online payment processing restrictions
Please, note that online payment processing has become non-effective for foreign cards VISA and MASTERCARD since 10 March 2022. This online payment processing is no more available due to the decision of VISA and MASTERCARD to suspend their activity in the territory of the Russian Federation.
At present, we possess no information about expected resumption of operations with foreign cards.
Transactions with Russian cards VISA, MASTERCARD, and ‘MIR’ work without restrictions.
Apple Pay и Samsung Pay: Since 10 March, processing operations only with ‘MIR’ cards.
Google Pay: on 10 March stopped processing any operations.
For transactions outside the Russian Federation, we recommend to use ‘MIR’, UnionPay cards or to make a bank transfer to St Petersburg University bank account via online bank applications or upon visiting bank offices.
